Chapter 5: The Silver Dungeon Mutiny
Finn hung suspended in mid-air by heavy refined silver chains inside the Subterranean Silver Dungeon. High-voltage generators hummed around him. The pure refined silver-veined stone walls reflected the flashing red alarms. Sizzling flesh smoked where silver clamps bit into his bone. Thick hollow needles pierced his shoulder blades.
Arch-Provost Garrison Vance turned the brass dials of the Silver Siphon Core Extractor. Golden blood glowed inside glass tubes, draining from Finn’s body.
“Three hundred years of royal purity, reduced to engine grease for my ascension,” Garrison mocked.
Finn gritted his teeth until blood dripped down his chin. He glared into Garrison’s sunken eyes, spitting blood onto the Headmaster’s velvet boots. “You can drain every drop of my blood, old man. You still won’t be half the wolf I am.”
Finn’s inner beast fed on the agonizing trauma, beginning to chew through the final strands of the suppression brand.
Massive concussive explosions shudder through the dungeon foundations as the outer gates are breached.
In the Central Gatehouses, Chris Vance smashed his Discipline Council badge on the floor, declaring open mutiny. Simon blanketed the Subterranean Security Corridors in pressurized green neurotoxin smoke, dropping seventy elite inquisitor shock-troopers in seconds.
Neal, in 12-foot rust-red Behemoth form, tore open reinforced silver gates like parchment. The three Alphas fought in flawless synchronization. Frost crystallized over blood-spattered breastplates as Chris severed spear lines. Simon struck nerve points with shadow-needles. Neal obliterated barricades with concussive booms.
Neal reaches the final titanium vault door of the Silver Dungeon, roaring as he rears back.
Neal smashed through the vault doors, sending jagged steel flying. Chris and Simon burst into the Extraction Chamber with blades drawn. Blue electrical arcs leaped across the ceiling as the silver siphon screamed at maximum overload.
The psychic mate bond achieved maximum synchronization. Finn felt the raw pulse of Chris’s frost, Simon’s shadows, and Neal’s furnace-fire flooding into his bloodstream, neutralizing the silver burns.
Panicking, Garrison activated the maximum silver shock current to stop Finn’s heart before the Alphas could cross the room.
The silver current hits Finn’s chest—and the suppression brand violently detonates.
A blinding supernova of white-and-gold solar plasma blasted outward from his chest. The silver chains vaporized into ash. The siphon needles disintegrated. The massive alchemical engine melted into bubbling slag.
Finn shifted for the first time. Standing 9.5 feet tall, crowned in radiant solar flames along its snow-white coat, the Solar Zenith Lycan opened its jade-gold jaws. The smell of vaporized silver and pure solar plasma filled the crumbling chamber.
The primordial sovereign roar tore through the dungeon’s granite pillars, sending shockwaves across the Ironvein Crags and instantly forcing every Alpha within a mile radius—including Chris, Simon, Neal, and the entire Inquisitor corps—to drop helplessly to their knees before the burning white-and-gold King.
