Chapter 1: The Midnight Call of St. Jude

Horror Game: Seduce My Ghost Teacher or Die 1 of 6

The air inside Room 404 of St. Jude Academy tasted of ancient chalk dust, ozone, and dried rose petals. Outside the tall gothic lancet windows, a blood-crimson moon hung suspended over the misty pine forest, casting long, razor-thin shadows across rows of heavy oak desks.

Audrey opened her eyes, her pulse hammering against her ribs like a trapped bird.

“Where… am I?” she whispered, her voice trembling in the freezing silence.

She looked down at herself. She was wearing a tailored navy pleated skirt, a crisp white blouse, and a crimson ribbon tie—the traditional uniform of St. Jude Academy. But memories of her real life were fading fast, replaced by a sudden, blaring chime inside her head.

*BZZZZT!*

Suddenly, a translucent, neon-violet heads-up display materialized in her field of vision:

> **[SYSTEM INITIALIZED: LOVE SURVIVAL GAME]**
> **[Current Realm: St. Jude Academy – Nocturnal Curfew Zone]**
> **[Host Identity: Audrey Vance (Rank F Player)]**
> **[Target Entity: Professor Wyatt Sterling (Ghost Master / Grade S Hazard)]**
> **[MANDATORY QUEST 1: Initiate physical contact with Professor Wyatt’s hand within 10 minutes.]**
> **[Penalty for Failure: Immediate Soul Vaporization.]**
> **[Countdown: 09:59… 09:58…]**

“Soul vaporization?!” Audrey gasped, clutching her chest. “Are you out of your mind?”

Before she could process the glowing text, heavy, rhythmic footsteps echoed from the marble hallway outside. The temperature in the classroom plunged rapidly. Frost bloomed in delicate, silver fern patterns across the windowpanes. The flames of the wall sconces sputtered from warm orange into eerie, flickering blue.

The heavy mahogany door swung open without a sound.

A tall figure stepped into the doorway.

He was strikingly handsome, with sharp, sculpted features that looked carved from white marble. Silver-grey hair brushed past his forehead, framing a pair of icy, glowing blue spectral eyes. He wore a high-collared Victorian black velvet suit coat over a pristine white shirt, his hands clad in sleek black leather gloves. An aura of overwhelming, lethal power radiated from him, heavy enough to make the air feel thick as water.

Professor Wyatt Sterling. The ghost master who ruled St. Jude Academy after dark.

“Classes ended at eight o’clock, Miss Vance,” Wyatt said, his voice deep, smooth, and chillingly cold, echoing softly off the wooden rafters. “Why are you wandering in the restricted wing during nocturnal curfew?”

Audrey stared at him, her breath coming out in white clouds.

> **[Countdown: 07:15… 07:14…]**

Her heart pounded against her ribs. She couldn’t fail on Quest 1. If she didn’t touch his hand, she would die right here on the classroom floor.

“Professor…” Audrey stammered, forcing her legs to move forward. She feigned dizziness, placing one hand against her forehead while taking deliberate steps toward his imposing form. “I… I stayed late studying the ancient runes. But suddenly my head started spinning…”

Wyatt stood motionless, his icy blue eyes tracking her every breath. “The rules of St. Jude are absolute. Students caught in the hallway after hours are subjected to disciplinary trials.”

“Please, sir,” Audrey breathed, closing the remaining distance between them until she was standing barely a foot away. She could smell the scent of cold snow, cedarwood, and faint dark magic radiating from him.

Taking a deep breath, Audrey reached out her trembling hand. As if stumbling from weakness, she let her fingertips brush directly against his gloved fingers.

*CHIME!*

> **[QUEST 1 COMPLETE!]**
> **[Intimacy Affinity +5. Survival Time Extended +24 Hours.]**
> **[Barrier Shield Granted.]**

Wyatt froze. His spectral eyes narrowed as he looked down at her small hand touching his. A subtle spark of silver energy crackled between their skin where they touched.

“You are bold, Miss Vance,” Wyatt murmured, his gaze dropping to her face, a dangerous gleam flickering in his pale eyes. “Or remarkably reckless.”

Audrey swallowed hard, looking up into his mesmerizing, deadly gaze. “I just… needed your guidance, Professor.”
